The World Ballet Trial Tokyo Stage 5th Jury

Keiji Tomiyama

1978: Began ballet at the Watanabe Takashi Prime Ballet School.

1981: Joined the Suzuki Takio Ballet Class at the Kyoto Ballet Company Ballet School.

1983: Joined The Tokyo Ballet, studying under Suzuki Takio, Sulamif Messerer, and Viktor Rona, a Russian trainer.

At The Tokyo Ballet, participated in several performances including:

The world premiere of Maurice Béjart's "The Kabuki"
Jorge Donn's performance of "Bolero" in Japan
Performances of "Swan Lake" under the direction of Rudolf Nureyev and Sylvie Guillem
"La Sylphide"
"The Nutcracker"
1986: Left The Tokyo Ballet.

From 2016 to 2019, was invited as a judge for the Malaysia International Ballet Grand Prix, the Bandung International Dance Competition, and the Philippine Dance Cup.

Additionally, was invited as a guest teacher in Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Singapore.
